LP Skills Days Booking Form

Leadership Pathways is a National College modularised programme that provides personalised leadership learning. It is designed to be flexible to suit individual contexts, needs and spheres of influence. The programme is designed with a heavy emphasis on work based learning combined with five face to face days and a range of innovative online resources. School based coaches offer support and challenge to participants as they trial, refine and embed improved leadership practice in schools.

The school based project needs to be across the school and it is recommended that the participant be seconded to the Senior Leadership Team for the duration of the programme

Benefits for the learning community will be the raised performance of key staff who: The programme will contribute to building the internal leadership capacity of schools and succession building of future leaders.
QUALITY ASSURANCE

Leadership pathways facilitators are drawn from the most experienced facilitators working with Carnegie Leaders in Learning. Facilitators are experienced trainers and have backgrounds of headship, active consultancy or senior management in an LA. They have been trained specifically for this programme by the National College and are highly regarded. There is an ongoing evaluation of the programme including participant evaluation, quality assurance reviews and nationally moderated quality assurance reviews.

Coaches: 1 day + ½ days

TARGET AUDIENCE

Leadership Pathways is aimed at established leaders in senior positions and who have had significant middle leader experience in teaching and/or non teaching roles. Within the National College’s portfolio of leadership development programmes it is positioned between Leading from the Middle and National Professional Qualification for Headship.

£550 per participant
Free for participants from Small Schools (those with 100 or fewer pupils of statutory school age)

No additional charge for coaches
