Leadership Explorer Diagnostic
Introduction
Research on competencies shows convincingly that colleagues perform better when there is agreement on which behaviours increase their effectiveness in their role.
The Leadership Explorer is a competency diagnostic tool that can be implemented by organisations and individuals who are looking to enhance their skill set e.g. leadership skills, as an individual or across their teams.
The tool uses a simple process to generate evidence that helps you to manage and develop the capabilities of everyone in your business.
Process diagram for an individual:
- Identify the competency needed for a particular role – for instance the competencies that describe an effective leader
- Enrol for an assessment against this role profile and undertake a personal assessment using the Leadership Explorer
- Invite raters to provide their assessment for you – this provides a complete picture of your skills
- Receive a report on your competency profile
