FIRST STEPS IN LEADERSHIP PROVISION IS FOR THOSE WHO ARE:

• developing a self awareness of their context and how teams work
• perhaps taking on an aspect of leadership for the first time
• moving towards a leadership role as part of distributed leadership

Provision is designed to widen skills, apply understanding in practice and develop confidence and competence in leadership.

The First Steps team can also offer the opportunity for schools or groups of schools to create customised programmes, including elements of the above provision plus a range of learning modules we have available, e.g Leading and Managing Change, Making Judgements, Managing Underachieving Staff.
