Overview


A National College programme designed to enhance the leadership skills of senior teams in secondary schools to help deliver improved outcomes for children and young people through school improvement. Tailored to address school-specific development priorities, with a focus on facilitation rather than direction.


Target Audience


DSLT is presently available to Senior Leadership Teams from secondary schools



Key Outcomes


  • School improvement by developing the senior leadership team and focusing on individual school priorities
  • Space for an SLT to constructively think about how to address key challenges
  • Ongoing support from an experienced facilitator



Quality Assurance


To sustain and improve the high quality and integrity of its programme delivery, Carnegie Leaders in Learning Partnership has a continuous quality improvement (CQI) policy. This includes ongoing participant evaluation, gaining a management perspective and measures of the impact of the programme over time.
