Case Study

Proving and Improving Impact for the Diana Award

About

Carnegie Leaders in Learning Partnership worked with a senior team at the Diana Award, a national charity to honour young people who selflessly contribute to their communities and inspire the lives of others, to help them define and agree impact statements for their organisation. By sharing various impact models, the Diana Award were able to select a tool which best suited their reality. Bespoke research both internal and published ensured clear statements of impact had a sound evidence base. This process helped the team interrogate their organisational strategy, understand external research sources relevant to their organisational goals, focus on the real outcomes of their work and understand the difference they make. Finally, the team created a plan of how they will measure and analyse the impact they have so that it becomes an essential part of their quality improvement processes.
