Children and Young People’s Participation:
Supporting Young People as Researcher
Working with senior staff at the Freeston Business & Enterprise College, our Carnegie Leaders consultants created a process which enabled the young people to interview senior leaders of children’s services and produce creative materials which reflected their views. This was showcased at a national steering group and now constitutes part of the Leadership Programme for Directors of Children’s Services, delivered by the National College for Leadership of School and Children’s Services.
