INTRODUCTION

Carnegie Leaders in Learning is a partnership between Leeds Metropolitan University and CCDU Ltd, combined to create a centre of excellence for leadership development opportunities for the children and young people’s workforce.

Carnegie Leaders is a strongly customer and stakeholder focussed organisation. We successfully deliver a range of our own high quality professional learning provision and hold a diverse portfolio of national and regional contracts. Carnegie Leaders in Learning prides itself on its commitment to working in partnership with other organisations and institutions.

Work based learning is the process of making our learning in work contexts both conscious and deliberate.

It is also about:

At Carnegie Leaders we see ‘work based learning’ as learning that benefits the individual, the team and the organisation. It is achieved mostly through work related activities and can be directly applied to improve current or future work outcomes offering the dual benefits of professional and organisational development.
