A fully funded leadership and management programme for leaders and managers of front line staff in playwork settings delivered by Carnegie Leaders in Learning Partnership

PROGRAMME CONTENT

space

This high quality, graduate level leadership and management training programme has been developed to equip people working in leadership and management roles across the play workforce to lead and manage in the context of integrated children's services.

'The Children's Plan' clearly recognises the need for professionally qualified leaders in playwork and makes a general statement that "delivering a world-class system will rely upon confident leaders who can deliver excellence in their own institutions and can work with other leaders to provide the best possible services for children and young people".

The need for strong, well-trained leaders and managers throughout the whole children's workforce was further reinforced in the recently published 2020 Children and Young People's Workforce Strategy.
